ANNA-UNSW.jpgWednesday was an exciting day for students around Australia who had been hopeful of gaining acceptance to University.

While most students received an email letting them know if they were successful, UNSW sent emails containing a personalised video, made just for them.

30,000 lucky students not only received guaranteed entry to UNSW they received their very own video, announcing their success and the course / preference they have been accepted for.

The technology was made possible by Smart Video Australia, which has offices in Sydney and London. SVA wrote and produced the video and recorded greetings to over 6000 unique student names including Western, European, Indian, Arabic and Asian names.

Rodd Martin Headshot.jpgSays former ad agency creative director Rodd Martin (left), now CEO of SVA: “Each video was dynamic, streamed in real time and triggered by a Smart Video API that was implemented through UNSW’s existing EDM program.

“Smart Video Australia’s cloud based platform is a convergence of video, data and personalisation. It allows videos to be delivered to an infinite sized database, in real time.

“There is no limit to the elements that can be customised including text, audio and image.”

Smart Video Australia’s other clients include Specsavers, MasterCard UK, Westfield and two top 10 financial services companies.
