Revolver director Steve Rogers receives first DGA nomination for the 68th Annual DGA Awards

Screen Shot 2016-01-08 at 7.24.48 am-thumb-400x223-207685.jpgAustralian director from Revolver Steve Rogers has been nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials for 2015 for the 68th Annual DGA Awards.

It comes as a result of Nike ‘Ripple’ and ‘Snow Day’ which were produced by Biscuit Filmworks in LA and Revolver in Sydney via Wieden + Kennedy, Portland. ‘Ripple’ which captures the inspirational effect of Tiger Woods on a young Rory McIlroy was also awarded a Gold Lion at Cannes last year.

Rogers has consistently ranked in the Most Awarded Directors as part of the Gunn Report annual, however this is his first DGA nomination.

Rogers is co-owner of Revolver with EP/ MD Michael Ritchie, who have also most recently teamed up with the former Head of Screen Australian Martha Coleman to launch Revlover – a new feature film & TV production house.

Rogers is currently on home soil developing his first feature and a 6 part series to be produced through the new entity.
