Sam Hegg and Sarah James_RS (1).jpgCarat Australia has announced the launch of its quarterly ‘Redefining Series’, a newly-created national roadshow led by the agency’s top talent. The series is aimed at educating and inspiring clients, equipping them with the competitive edge needed to succeed in an increasingly challenging media landscape.

The first iteration of the Redefining Series roadshow – ‘Redefining Top Trends for 2016’ – will make its final stop in Brisbane today, following successful events in both Melbourne and Sydney over the last week.

The session focuses on unlocking the implications for clients of the year’s most influential emerging trends, centered around two key themes:

– The rise of closed, competing ecosystems

– The development of artificial intelligence and actionable measurement

Topics being explored include the role of algorithms vs. curation, recognition and the era of the visual web, micro-moments and the ‘near-me’ phenomenon, and sentiment analysis beyond emoticons – particularly pertinent given the launch of Facebook Reactions this week.

The session is being led by Carat’s chief strategy officer, Sam Hegg (above, left), and chief digital officer, Sarah James (above, right).

Says Adriana Colaneri, CMO, Carat Australia: “In 2016, we continue to evolve and invest in our Carat product offering. The Redefining Series has been developed to educate and inspire our clients on the hot topics and key challenges they face as marketers in the converging landscape. The events provide a platform to navigate them through this to deliver meaningful business outcomes.”
