Doritos_TIFFANY.jpgMADC is launching its next event in its MADC Presents series with Peter Carstairs, director at Mr Smith and director of the epic Doritos ‘Ultrasound‘ spot for the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest.

The talk called ‘Creating something from nothing: Crashing the Super Bowl and courting controversy’ will take place next Wednesday night, March 16, 6:30pm at the The Local Taphouse in St Kilda.

Playing on the Big Screen (1).jpgCarstairs will talk about collaborating with Cummins&Partners to create Doritos ‘Ultrasound’ which went on to become the most popular, most engaging and most shared TVC at the 2016 Super Bowl.

With over 80 million views online Ultrasound is an unprecedented success for Doritos and the most successful Crash the Super Bowl TVC ever. Carstairs will tell the David v Goliath story but also discusses the issues e.g. that the abortion industry weighed in, whether having no client helps, who exploits who when it comes to ‘contests’, how it went viral, and that Ultrasound was by far the most popular entry yet didn’t win on votes.
