QLD Youngbloods offers a helping hand with networking event on Thurs, Mar 17, Loft West End
The newly formed QLD Youngbloods committee has announced its first event for 2016, to kick off a run of networking initiatives. ‘The Hand You Need’ will be held on Thursday March 17 at Loft West End with doors opening at 6:30pm.
‘The Hand You Need’ aims to provide attendees with insight into some of Brisbane’s biggest names in the advertising, marketing, media, PR and communications industry through a live panel and networking event.
The panel will showcase talent from Ikon Communications, Ogilvy Brisbane and Rumble Creative & Media, with more big names to be announced. Industry elite will offer their first hand experience to those fresh to the professional world and those who are still aspiring to join it.
Harry McKeon, Queensland Youngbloods chair, said the night will give voice to varying levels of experience across six different fields.
Says McKeon: “We as a committee have largely identified what young professionals and students of this industry are looking to know and aim to address it across a range of topics.
“As young professionals ourselves, we understand that the industry can be tricky to navigate and at times bloody tough, so we have assembled an experienced team to offer a hand to everyone else asking the same questions.”
Attendees also have the chance to win a $1,000 AdSchool Workshop, a coffee with an industry professional and prizes from event sponsors Grill’d and Pineapple Express Cafe.
