Clemenger BBDO Brisbane hires GPY&R Brisbane’s Rob Hudson in the role of MD

Clemenger BBDO Brisbane has today announced the appointment of Rob Hudson as the new managing director.

Hudson, who was managing director of GPY&R in Brisbane, will replace outgoing managing director Vanessa Brennan who has resigned to take a partnership role with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brisbane.

Says Robert Morgan, Clemenger Group chairman: “Vanessa has worked tirelessly to build our agency in Brisbane and has done a great job winning new clients and building our credibility in this tough market.

Hudson is currently managing director of GPY&R, Brisbane’s biggest agency. He’s been with the agency for six years and has been instrumental in building the agency to market leadership. 

Says Morgan: “Rob is a digital leader and evangelist and will also contribute across our Network to further enhance our digital capabilities.

“We have a very exciting future in Brisbane, with Rob and ECDs Cristian Staal and Marianne Harvey leading our agency.”
