Mardi Gras is one of Airbnb’s busiest times of the year. Our task, myth bust misconceptions and communicate benefits and protections offered to hosts. Host With Pride was an integrated brand experience, led by a a seven-part content series, starring iconic Aussie Drag Queen, Verushka Darling. The content series targeted premium property owners in the Mardi Gras precinct and was complimented by fabulous PR and OOH around the area. Then in a sequin-clad celebration of love and belong, Verushka and 110 dancers made up of the Airbnb community, marched in Sydney’s iconic Mardi Gras parade to a choreographed dance-remix of Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together.’
