Former BMF CEO Jeremy Nicholas set to join Telstra as retail marketing executive director

JeremyNicholas_BMF-LATEST-2010-web.jpgJeremy Nicholas, the former CEO of BMF, is set to join Telstra as retail marketing executive director, reporting to Telstra media and marketing managing director Jo Pollard, effective May 26.

Nicholas was most recently VP, Head of Global Product Marketing at Visa in the US where he led marketing for all Visa’s products, emerging technologies and new products across North America and the world. At Visa he was responsible for all global cross product marketing including the 2016 Olympics campaign as well as Visa’s CRM, sales enablement and B2B marketing.

In 2013 his passion for football (he has been a board member of Sydney FC), technology and for corporate leadership drew him to a role as VP, Global Football Sponsorship at Visa and a life in Silicon Valley. For the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil he was responsible for over 700 staff, creation, development and deployment of global marketing and advertising, relationships with the rights holder and implementation of all Visa’s payment technology and infrastructure into the 12 stadia in Brazil.
