Mr Smith’s Craig MacLean launches new picture book ‘What Noise Comes From a Giraffe?’
This week marks the release of ‘What Noise Comes From a Giraffe?’, a picture book written and illustrated by Craig MacLean, creative partner and director at creative projects company Mr Smith.
Says MacLean, who signed a multi-book deal with international publishing house HarperCollins last September: “I’ve always used pictures to tell stories, originally as a graphic designer and art director before moving into filmmaking. ‘Giraffe’ was a way to use that experience to explore a new creative outlet and, most importantly, to have some fun. Anyone with kids will immediately recognise the book’s central question. Luckily, my eldest daughter had the answer.”
Mr Smith is working on extending the book into an interactive story app, scheduled for release in December 2016.
