HotdesQ 360.jpgPublicis Pusher has launched a global campaign for the Queensland Government to attract the world’s smartest startup talent to the state.

Announced by the Queensland Premier, Anastasia Palaszczuk, at the Advance Queensland Innovation and Investment Summit, the campaign from Publicis Pusher launched with a 360 video that showcases local success stories that reinforce Queensland’s credentials as the newly coined ‘Startup State’.

HotdesQ mobile.jpgHighly targeted social media encourages the startup community to embrace and amplify the campaign, with world-respected influencers bringing credibility to the Queensland story.

A new website hotdesq.com.au invites viewers to explore the dedicated Hot DesQ hubs across Queensland that provide mentors, support services, infrastructure and desk space to visiting startups.

Everyone from early stage startups to established innovation teams and Aussie expats are invited to apply for Hot DesQ, with up to $100,000 in funding available.

Says Phil Nobay, creative director, Publicis Pusher: “The name Hot DesQ reflects the free spirit of today’s startup – highly mobile and keen to hop around the globe to chase the next big opportunity.”

In coming months, Publicis Pusher and Advance Queensland will leverage their global networks to engage international startup communities with activations that reach as far as London and New York.
