Screen Shot 2016-05-24 at 8.21.13 am.jpgThe MFA has today launched its annual Awards. Now in its 18th year, the MFA Awards recognise and celebrate the most innovative and effective work being produced by our industry. The MFA also created a humorous mockumentary video with some familiar faces making cameos.

Says Sophie Madden, CEO, MFA: “The MFA Awards exist for the benefit of our industry, they recognise great work, demonstrating the contribution agencies make to their clients’ businesses. Each year we review the program to ensure it keeps pace with our ever changing industry, one of the key changes this year is the inclusion of the growing data and tech partner sector.”

The Awards were launched concurrently across 60+ MFA member agencies Australia wide. Each agency hosted an all staff meeting where the industry gathered together to celebrate the launch and be briefed on the key changes for 2016.

Changes include the addition of a new category, B2B; the entry deadlines have been revised to help alleviate the amount of time spent on crafting entries and entry criteria has been broadened in places to allow for data and tech partners to now put a submission together. As always, major focus will be placed on the rigor of the results. Once again clients will be contacted to verify results submitted.

Work that works tends to be ground breaking and imaginative, underpinned by rigour and strong insights. It’s important to celebrate this work to keep raising the bar and to continue to inspire and push each other into new territory.”

The Awards finalists will be announced in late August.

Winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney on 13 October 2016.
