Revolver/Will O’Rourke secures three Gold Lions, four Silver Lions and five Bronze at Cannes Lions

Screen Shot 2016-01-08 at 7.24.48 am-thumb-400x223-207685.jpgAcross the week at Cannes, production company Revolver/Will O’Rourke has worked with agencies across Australia, New Zealand the USA to secure three Gold, four Silvers, five Bronze and 20 finalists – across nine different categories and projects.

Steve Rogers was awarded Gold for both Old Spice spots ‘Rocket Car’ & ‘Whale’ produced alongside LA partner Biscuit Filmworks for W+K Portland.

Creative collective The Glue Society scored trophies across the breadth of disciplines varying from artistic origination and design of the GAYNZ bank for Whybin/TBWA Melbourne which was awarded Gold to the direction of the SkyTV/History Channel Unforgotten Soldiers outdoor activation for DDB Auckland. (Note: This ANZAC 100 Year Anniversary project was also recently awarded a Yellow Pencil at D&AD and a Gold at One Show – adding to the Design Grand Prix at Spikes Asia.)

The Glue Society also awarded a Bronze for HSBC Lift, completed with Independent in the UK.

Other Cannes Award collaborations include VW Naked Ute with DDB Sydney, NAB Fanshake with Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and the Masterfoods film for Clemenger BBDO Sydney. TAC Towards Zero was also directed for Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne and Kidsafe The Unconventional Oven for DDB Melbourne.
