Colenso BBDO takes out Promo & Activation Grand Prix, Outdoor Grand Prix, Integrated Grand Prix at Spikes Asia for DB Export ‘Brewtroleum’

Thumbnail image for DB Export Brewtroleum infographic-thumb-400x256-187751.jpgColenso BBDO, Auckland’s DB Export ‘Brewtroleum’ campaign has taken out the Promo & Activation Grand Prix, the Outdoor Grand Prix and the Integrated Grand Prix at Spikes Asia tonight in Singapore.

Overall, New Zealand and Australia put in a good performance, taking home an impressive haul of Gold, Silver and Bronze Spikes.

Integrated

Colenso BBDO, Auckland won the Grand Prix for DB Export ‘Brewtroleum’ while Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne won one of only two Gold Spikes awarded, for Bonds ‘The Boys’. Only two Silver Spikes were awarded, one to Y&R New Zealand for Burger King ‘McWhopper’, the other to Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for Snickers ‘Hungerithm’. 

Outdoor

Colenso BBDO, Auckland won the Grand Prix for DB Export ‘Brewtroleum’ as well as two Gold Spikes. Y&R New Zealand won two Gold Spikes for Burger King ‘McWhopper’, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne won a Gold Spike and Silver Spike for Bonds ‘The Boys’ and Colenso BBDO Auckland won a Gold Spike for Anchor Milk ‘X-Ray Casts’. McCann Melbourne won a Silver Spike and Bronze Spike for MIFF ‘The Emotional Trailer’, as did Colenso BBDO Auckland for Memphis Meltdown ‘Leave Room’. Bronze Spikes went to Leo Burnett Melbourne for SPC Ardmona ‘Preserved Memories’, Colenso BBDO Auckland for Mountain Dew ‘Gocap’ and Y&R New Zealand for Jaguar F-Type ‘Actual Reality’.

Rumble Creative & Media, Brisbane won a Gold Spike for Cancer Council Queensland ‘The Ugly Xmas Rashie’, Y&R New Zealand won a Gold Spike for Burger King ‘McWhopper’, Host Sydney won a Gold Spike for Air New Zealand & Qantas ‘#airlinewager’ and Colenso BBDO Auckland won a Gold Spike for Amnesty International ‘Unblocker’. Two Silver Spikes were awarded to Leo Burnett Melbourne for Headspace ‘Reword’ and McCann Melbourne won a Silver Spike for Seeing Eye Dogs ‘Free Puppies Forever’. A Bronze Spike was awarded to Colenso BBDO Auckland for DB Export ‘Brewtroleum’.

FCB New Zealand won a Silver Spike for its Paper Plus print campaign for Copywriting (copywriter: Matt Williams). J Walter Thompson Sydney won a Bronze Spike for the Parkinson’s NSW print campaign for Art Direction (Art Director: Gerhard Myburgh).

DDB New Zealand won a Gold Spike for Game of Thrones – Pop Up Channel ‘Shame’, as did GPY&R Melbourne for Australia Post ‘The Airborne Ad’. FCB New Zealand won two Silver Spikes for its Paper Plus campaign, while one Silver Spike apiece was awarded to Colenso BBDO Auckland for Pedigree ‘Hit Song’, J Walter Thompson Perth for RAC Security ‘Ignore’, and Clemenger BBDO Sydney for Dry July ‘Drytunes’ (which also won Bronze). Bronze Spikes were awarded to Colenso BBDO Auckland for Pedigree ‘Crime Boss’ and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for Pedigree ‘Slippers Breath’.
