Among the new recruits, award-winning creative Tommy Cehak has come on board as senior creative, working across The Royals’ growing client list. Passionate about design, Cehak has collected awards at Cannes, New York Festivals, One Show, ADMA, Sirens and AWARD Awards and has previously worked at Droga5, Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB Sydney.

Antuong Nguyen has joined The Royals in the role of filmmaker and producer. An awarded filmmaker, Nguyen co-founded a music video production company, Moop Jaw, where he worked on over 40 music videos with renowned artists including Peaches, The Temper Trap, and Miami Horror. When not working as a Royal, he continues to lecture a Masters program in Dissemination and Communication at RMIT University.

In addition, the two creative teams of Adam Frazer (art director) and Lewis Farrar (copywriter), and Lucy Logan (art director) and Holly Burgess (copywriter) bring a combined experience of close to 20 years and a number of individual achievements. Among the highlights, Farrar made the top 24 semi-finalists (from 5,000 entries worldwide) in the Doritos Crash the Superbowl competition in 2014.

With experience across a wide range of productions and platforms, Eliza D’Souza is The Royals’ newest producer while Katie Morris is bringing her technical social skills to her new role as social media manager. Rounding off the new additions is Edita Knowler who began her career with a Saatchi Scout Internship and went on to work as a photographer and talent booker before joining The Royals.

Says Nick Cummins, creative partner at The Royals: “Our hiring policy is to collect perpetually curious thinkers who’ll inspire other Royals and our clients, and help us continue to be ‘the most interested agency in the world’. In these eight, we’ve found a collection of true creative minds that make us better as a team. Their impact is already being felt in our business and our clients’ businesses.”
