foodora delivers top Melbourne retailers lunch via drones in experiential campaign via IE Digital

Drones have been the hot topic of conversation of late, in relation to the advancements of food delivery, made possible with technology, and now foodora and IE Digital got in on the conversation.

On November 16 foodora showcased to guests that it is at the forefront of these developments in the food delivery space. Mouth-watering foodie offerings from popular partners of foodora, after the initial drone delivery from Fonda, included; The Beer + Burger Bar and Miss Chu.

Whilst guests enjoyed their unique lunch experience, they also had the opportunity to discuss why getting on board with technological advancements is more important than ever, to disrupt oneself and stay ahead of the competition. Retail guests so far include: Forever New, Mecca, Myer, Amcal, Susan Group, and The Body Shop.

Brick and mortar retailers are now fully embracing e-commerce and in-store digital as being a game changer. IE’s founder, Rhys Hayes, and foodora Melbourne’s CEO, Pan Koutlakis, shared with guests some of the key differences that makes innovators successful in global markets.
