SeanNYC.jpg2017 has begun brightly for the New York Office of Australian Independent Agency Cummins&Partners.

After picking up duties for the US luxury goods brand Ghurka late last year, the agency has started the new year winning duties for Innovate Hartford, UNAIDS Together for Girls and this week Moxy Hotels – part of the Marriott Group.

Innovate Hartford is an initiative by EZBZ founder Shana Schlossberg to transform downtown Hartford… once America’s industrialised powerhouse…into a centre for start-up tech innovation. The New York Times mentioned Cummins&Partners in a story about the redevelopment of second tier cities. The work by C&P will roll out to other US cities after the Hartford launch in May.

Together For Girls appointed Cummins&Partners to develop a strategic and creative framework for the UNAIDS division which specifically focuses on data collection in order to understand the true problems facing at-risk girls and boys in developing countries.

One of the newest lifestyle brands for Marriott International, Moxy Hotels, has appointed the agency to develop creative and execution plan for a global campaign launch which will help debut the brand with over 60 hotels in the next 2 years including NYC, Tokyo, Amsterdam, London, etc.

Says Sean Cummins (pictured above), global CEO, Cummins&Partners: “We have a small but very prolific team here in New York and every pitch and every day is competitive. To win the confidence of a range of clients over different categories is gratifying. It is a peculiarly Australian thing to have outstanding broad skills and talents. I have always challenged the assumption that specialists are best for brands when life doesn’t really work that way.”
