Screen Shot 2017-05-04 at 3.34.52 pm.jpgJungle director Scott Pickett, an Aussie, has this week launched his fashion film Balestra for eyewear brand Carla Colour.

Carla Colour eyewear is the brain child of ad industry expat and ex-BMF’s Carla Robertson. Carla Colour joined forces with Pickett and model Taylor Allard (Ford Models) to create a visually dynamic, surreal and atmospheric fashion film to present the sunglasses brand in SS17.

Shot in a magnificent yet crumbling housing estate outside Paris, Balestra evokes an atmosphere of a parallel world blending past and future.

Allard gives an incredible performance as our multiple hero. Her buzz-cut and utilitarian styling were crucial to create a strong androgynous character. This stark look welcomes the explosion of colourful eyewear, featuring the key colours for the Carla Colour SS17 collection.

Robertson launched her first unisex capsule collection in 2014 with her iconic round LIND frame, and is proud to be a women-owned business. The Carla Colour brand is committed to bringing rich and exciting colour to the eyewear market.

Scott Pickett is represented by Jungle in Australasia.
