Cobram-Estate-Launch (1).jpgAustralian extra virgin olive oil producer, Cobram Estate, has launched its new website via Melbourne independent digital agency Inlight.

The new site is a destination for foodies, with rich visuals and stories that bring the ‘tree to table’ process and brand’s passion for educating on the health benefits of Australian olive oil to life. The website includes recipes straight from the brand’s key partnerships with Better Homes & Gardens and Masterchef, as well as their key celebrity chefs, so viewers can recreate the most popular dishes at home using the “only oil you need”.

Inlight is proud to have been on an end to end journey with Cobram Estate, from field research and initial conceptual work, through to design and build of the website providing an intuitive, responsive and easy to navigate experience. It also features more interactive ways to experience the brand and its origins through subtle animations and parallax scrolling, and enhanced recipes through their partnerships.

Says Steph Webster, client services director, Inlight: “We really wanted to create a new brand experience that embodied the Cobram Estate ethos and history. The groves and the people are the magic of Cobram Estate and our mission was allow our site visitors to resonate with that and feel the magic of actually visiting the grove.”

Coupling a beautiful front end experience with a really user-friendly backend CMS solution was paramount to the overall success of this project. The result is that the website doesn’t feel overly content managed, and the new open-source CMS is intuitive and easy to use as well.

Says Janice Lee, brand manager, Cobram Estate: “We’ve got such an incredible brand story to tell, and our new platform gives us a great way to showcase our grove, history and partnerships.”
