Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s ‘Hungerithm’ for Snickers makes Cannes Titanium Lions shortlist

Only one entry from Australia has made the cut at the shortlist stage of the Cannes Titanium Lions.
Nabbing one of 21 finalist spots is Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for Snickers ‘Hungerithm’ via FINCH Melbourne, Flutter Melbourne and MediaCom Melbourne.
Very surprisingly TAC ‘Meet Graham’, the star performer of this year’s Festival, did not make the shortlist.

That doesn’t make much sense
It’s been done!
And awarded at Cannes!

No Omnicon shops on this jury.
Also, I’m hearing two particular agencies – represented on this jury – desperately want to stop Clemenger BBDO Melbourne getting Cannes Agency of the Year.
With McCann on the jury there was only ever one outcome. Graham gets booted leaving Fearless Girl to win.
Ask the jury what?
If they remember the day they changed from actual creatives to holding company performers?
THAT IDEA HAS BEEN DONE.
RECENTLY!

Yeah, Graham is better than Hungerithm. No disrespect to Hungerithm, but that’s the one that deserves to be on this list. There is some high quality work in there. And a shame it is not competing against Fearless Girl. But I believe Clems will win agency of the year regardless.
That’s just embarrassing for the jury. At least a shortlist if you’re going to play politics.
