Screen Shot 2017-09-14 at 1.00.27 pm.jpgExperience agency, Imagination Australia, received five awards at last night's Australian Event Awards, the national awards program for the Australian events industry.

The judges' verdicts saw the agency recognised for its innovative work with Ford and Westpac, and across the landmark Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience commissioned by the Australian Government.
Designed to bring Ford's global brand strategy to life, Imagination's landmark, multi-sensory installation for Ford Australia at Vivid Sydney 2017 picked up the national award for Best Achievement in Technical and Innovation.

The agency's work on Westpac's Bicentennial Program was recognised as a State Winner for Best Corporate Event.

The big winner for the night was the Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience, the biggest and most technically advanced exhibition to ever tour Australia. The project was delivered for the Australian Government, Australian War Memorial, Department of Defence, in partnership with Commonwealth Bank and Telstra, and toured 23 cities around Australia for over two years. The exhibition received the national accolade for Best Design, Look & Theming and Best Exhibition, took out the biggest honour of the night - Australia's Favourite Event, an award voted by members of the public.

Imagination Australia managing director Antony Gowthorp says it's an honour to be recognised by the industry for their work at the country's leading event awards.

Says Gowthorp: "It's been a huge year for Imagination and it's brilliant to have our work recognised on a national level. We strive to produce the best experiences for our clients and we're grateful for their ongoing bravery and vision."

Says Heath Campanaro, director, Imagination Australia: "Projects like these take a huge effort from so many people, and these awards are a testament to their hard work and original thinking. The wins mean so much to the team and we're very proud of their ongoing dedication to creative excellence and technical innovation. It's an amazing result for Imagination and our clients."
