Bushman Insect Repellent appoints Spinach to handle startegy, creative, digital and media

Bushman Range.jpgJust in time for summer, boutique full-service agency Spinach has been appointed by Australian insect repellent, Bushman Insect Repellent.

Since 1990, Bushman Insect Repellent has been protecting all Australians including outdoor professionals, sporting enthusiasts and overseas travellers from blood-seeking, disease-carrying insects. With up to 15-hours protection from one single application, Bushman stands out as the most effective, longest lasting insect repellent on the market.

The appointment calls on Spinach’s fully integrated offering – strategy, creative, digital and media – as the brand branches out into mainstream distribution channels beyond its deep penetration of pharmacies, speciality camping, hiking and outdoor outlets. Now, the Bushman Insect Repellent growth strategy is seeking further sales by taking its message to a wider audience via a heavy television presence concentrated on Aussie mozzie hot spots.

Says Craig Flanders, CEO of Spinach: “Bushman has established an enviable reputation for being the most effective in its product category. We’re excited to have the opportunity to leverage this premium positioning as we open the brand up to a wider audience in the coming months.”

Says Andrew Raper, CEO of Bushman Insect Repellent: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Spinach team in the past and I’m confident the agency’s full-service offering is exactly what we need as Bushman embarks on this growth phase.”
