Magnum Opus Partners launches the MOP NEXT Internship Program; applications close 31 March

MOP Next (1).jpgLast year saw the launch of MOP's internship program which partnered with RMIT and resulted in an art director and designer coming on board. Today Magnum Opus Partners is launching its brand new internship program - MOP NEXT: the internship has been restructured and a new application process has been adopted.

The MOP NEXT internship is open to all job roles within the industry from art directors to account service to planners.

The paid internship will work across a variety of different key clients and projects, for two days a week over two months. The lucky candidate will get access to all senior management, reporting directly to MOP's creative director, Pat Langton and the agency MD, Erin Lightfoot.

Says Langton: "I remember being a junior art director and how difficult it was to get a start in this industry. I was one of the lucky ones, but I worked my butt off to get a start. We want to see the next Bill Bernbach or Dave Droga walk through our door. We want to see passion, drive, and - most importantly - creativity. All jobs in an ad agency are "creative". I want to see a great idea in the video they submit, something that makes me want to say 'I wish I thought of that'.

MOP launches the program with a film asking young kids about the advertising industry.

Applications open today, and close on 31 March 2018, and the successful candidate will be choosen shortly after. Candidates simply need to submit a video, no longer than a minute, on why they want to be an art director, copywiter, planner, account manager, social media expert, online guru, producer etc.
