Advertising Week APAC changes gear; reveals new wave of speakers and ticket information

download.jpgAdvertising Week, one of the world’s largest annual gathering of advertising, creative, marketing, media and technology industry leaders, has today announced new speakers for the inaugural edition of Advertising Week APAC, taking place between July 30 and August 2 at Luna Park in Sydney. Advertising Week also announces new partners supporting the event, and availability of early bird tickets as of today, with prices making the event accessible for all, and accessible here.

Machado is Global CMO at Burger King and was named Creative Marketer of the Year at Cannes 2017.

 

The same year, he has also been recognised by Business Insider as top 5 most innovative CMOs and by AdAge as top 50 most creative people in the business. With more than 100 Lions in Cannes (5 GPs), 12 D&AD Yellow Pencils, 1 Grandy, and 2 Grand Effies in North America, Fernando is known for pushing the creative boundaries.

 

image002.pngAlexandra Sloane, head of marketing ANZ, Facebook

Sloane is head of marketing at Facebook, ANZ. In her four years at Facebook, Sloane has been helping businesses discover the potential of the Facebook and Instagram platforms to generate growth.

 

Prior to joining Facebook in 2012, Sloane spent 11 years working in creative agencies, including Y&R New-York, bagging a bronze Cannes Lions amongst other accolades.

Gloster has a 25-year career in the Media and Marketing arenas in leadership roles. She is currently PwC Australia’s CMO Advisory. She was previously CEO of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), and more recently the chief commercial and strategy officer for Network Ten.

 

She is ranked in the Top 30 Powerful Women in Media 2014-2017 by B&T Magazine Australia and was a recent Face to Watch in the Adnews Power 50. She was also awarded the Presidents Prize by the World Federation of Advertisers in Brussels.

Lund founded Tribe after 15 years hosting some of the biggest TV and radio shows in Australia. Lund swapped celebrity life for the Silicon Valley, having founded one of the world’s fastest growing micro-influencer marketplaces.

 

Lund’s social insights have made him an authority on social trends, and is regularly invited at events around the globe to decrypt the trends of influencer marketing.

Green is the founder, CEO and chairman of the Board of The Trade Desk. The American Marketing Association named Green one of the ‘4 under 40’ emerging leaders and was named 2017 Entrepreneurs of the Year by EY along with co-founder Dave Pickles.

 

A recognized digital marketing and advertising expert, Green regularly appears in US media, including the Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg TV. He was also a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Jones is CEO and managing director at PureProfile. Jones’ career spans over 30 years in the digital industry, with key roles in leading digital and marketing companies, including CEO and managing director at Yahoo! ANZ, managing director at News Corp, managing director at WPP AUNZ, and chief digital officer EMEA at Starcom MediaVest Group. He also served as chief revenue officer and executive vice president International at Vevo LLC.
