The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for sixteen years.

More than 800 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 100 executives around the world acting as judges in March and April.

Leap Agency won Gold for its client Charles Darwin University, Vocational Education Training in the Innovation in Brand Development category.  The work was also recognised with a Silver Award in the Brand Renovation/Re-Branding category.

Working with the LEAP Agency team has been one of the highlights of my time at Charles Darwin University”.

Says Tony Prentice, managing partner Leap Agency: “It’s exciting to be recognised for our work for Charles Darwin University. Having been successful last year with a campaign for Higher Education, our award for VET in 2018 vindicates Leap Agency’s approach crafted around the science of selling. With so many tools both on and offline, marketers should expect their agencies to understand how to interrogate data and use those insights to craft work that gets measurable results. I’m very proud of our team and our clients.”

Leap Agency also won a Silver Award in the Innovation in Cross-Media Marketing category for its client Aveo Retirement Group.

This award is a great recognition of our commitment to innovation in the Retirement and Aged Care sector.”

Says Robert Knights, client services partner, Leap Agency: “The Aveo ‘Journey’ campaign had already delivered on its most important objective – to positively impact on the sales of the Aveo Group. To win the Stevie Award is just icing on the cake. It’s a fantastic endorsement of a growing team of marketers that are supporting an innovative company with communications campaigns that reflect their overall commitment to being the leading provider in their category.”
