The Works, RXP + Norton Rose Fulbright launch Smart Dust podcast about tech, data + innovation

The Smart Dust podcast – named after micro electromechanical computers that that can be breathed in to monitor the human brain – has been created to give brain-expanding ideas and perspectives that can be applied to listeners’ daily and professional lives.

Presenters Nick Abrahams (above left), global head of technology and innovation at Norton Rose Fulbright and Douglas Nicol (above right), partner at The Works, will deliver insights into emerging technology, data and innovation each month.

Abrahams co-created the world’s first AI-enabled privacy chatbot built on IBM Watson and co-founded Australia’s leading online legal service, LawPath. He is on the board of ASX300 global software company, Integrated Research as well as being on the boards of, the Vodafone Foundation and the Institute for Economics & Peace. He wrote the Kindle Business #1 book Digital Disruption in Australia.

Self-confessed data geek Nicol is a former chair of the Australian Data Driven Marketing Association (ADMA) and in addition to The Works, heads up On Message, a conversational marketing platform which is a leader in the world of chatbot and voice applications. The Works, part of leading ASX-listed digital services consultancy RXP, has won several CX and advertising agency awards.

The first Smart Dust, produced by content agency Daresay, talks about drones delivering use cases beyond just pizza; autonomous vehicles; how cryptocurrencies are changing business; and China’s use of facial recognition to stop jaywalkers in their tracks.
