South Yarra.jpgMomentum Energy has launched a new “Move with Momentum” campaign, developed in partnership with independent consultants LDS and creative agency B.B.E, demonstrating that being locally owned makes them the most empathetic energy retailer to move house with.

The campaign leverages local insights about what it’s like to move in Melbourne and Geelong.

North Melbourne.jpgSays Naomi Morton, head of marketing and communications, Momentum: “The campaign features the kind of tongue-in-cheek insights about moving that are only possible with local knowledge and understanding. We’re 100% Australian owned, with call centres in Melbourne and Hobart, so we genuinely understand what it’s like to move house here.”

Momentum is launching “Move with Momentum” with a through-the-line campaign for Victorians. This includes a 30 second film and a series of large and small format OOH placements in key placements featuring localised creative.

Says Tim Evans, strategy director, B.B.E: “It’s a universal truth that no one likes to move, and we know that engaging with suppliers during this time can be a pain point for Australians. We hope this new platform will resonate with Victorians on a local level and bring a smile to people’s faces, while highlighting Momentum’s position as a locally owned energy retailer who can empathise and deliver on what Aussies really want during a move.”

This is the second campaign led by LDS and B.B.E for Momentum, after refreshing the brand and launching “0% off” in July last year.

Momentum is a 2017 Mozo People’s Choice Award winner for electricity across four categories – outstanding customer experience, excellent customer service, clearest power bills and environmental awareness.

It retails electricity and gas in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, ACT and on the Bass Strait islands, and it’s 100 per cent owned by Hydro Tasmania, Australia’s largest generator of renewable energy.
