McCann Melbourne takes out Global Silver Effie in NYC for L'Oréal Paris True Match foundation

LOREAL-EFFIE-final.jpgMcCann Melbourne continues its Effie success, winning a global Silver Effie for its work on L'Oreal Paris True Match foundation, recognising the campaigns excellence in marketing effectiveness.

Alongside McCann Paris, Ireland and London, the award ceremony which took place in New York last night follows the recent recognition for the agency including McCann Melbourne being named Agency of the Year at the APAC Effies for 2018 along with a Grand Effie for its work 'Made Possible' with University of Melbourne. Additionally, McCann Worldgroup was last year crowned the most Globally Effective Creative Network by the 2018 Global Effie Effectiveness Index.

For many years, the mass foundation market has lacked the diversity that represented Australia's diverse community, the True Match 'My Skin, My Story' campaign, headlined by Dami Im, celebrated the diversity of stories that each women felt about her own skin, and how it proudly represented their identity.

Says McCann Melbourne Head of Strategy, Roshni Hergerman: "The True Match campaign aimed to create a dialogue about our unique skin stories, and what it means to find a foundation that reflects their true self. We are proud to be acknowledged at a global level for our contribution to this narrative."

McCann Worldgroup was also ranked as the #1 agency network for effectiveness 2018 in Europe, APAC and the Middle East North Africa regions, with New York the top agency office in the North American Effie tables.
