King will now vie for the national prize in Sydney on August 7, and the opportunity to travel to Facebook HQ in California. Rumble account manager Harold McKeon (centre), who placed third in Queensland, is in contention for the national live brief assignment for OzHarvest.

This is the second year running that Rumble’s young talent has taken out Top 3 placements at AWARD School.

Says James Burchill, creative partner, Rumble: “Since Edward joined us as a designer earlier this year we have been impressed by the strength of his conceptual thinking and his design and crafting skills. His AWARD School portfolio cemented our belief that he will make an excellent art director, and we are excited for him to team with Rubini, adding another great young team to our agency.”

A big future is also planned for McKeon, who chose to do AWARD School to hone his strategic thinking and write better briefs – and ended up in the Top 3.

Says Burchill: “We are fortunate to have amazing young talent who reinforce the Rumbler attitude –  we are a creative agency, not just a creative department.”
