MADC Creative Showcase searches for Melbourne’s new rising stars; deadline Sept 19

1 MADC_Stars_Logo.jpgThe recent launch of the MADC Creative Showcase heralds a new platform to elevate and celebrate Melbourne’s creative community, including those in the first few years of their professional advertising career.

Chaired by renowned global creative, Matt Eastwood, an esteemed jury of awarded expats will be searching for Melbourne’s ‘Rising Stars’ with a category designed specifically for those new to the industry. Entries are capped just $50 (+GST) each, as are tickets to the showcase presentation and party.

2 MADC_Stars_Rising PR.jpgSays Adrian Bosich, MADC president: “We’re not just searching for advertising creatives, this is a unique award that’s open to anyone who has been professionally employed in the industry from January 1, 2015, and is already writing, art directing, film directing, editing, vfx-ing, sound mixing, designing or photographing their way into advertising history.”

Entrants may have developed a widely recognised campaign or demonstrated work that is confronting, thought provoking or in the minds of the judges, simply stands out from the fray.

Submissions must include three pieces of published work from the past three years, along with a 200 word3 MADC_Stars_Rising PR_DPL.jpg submission on why you should be recgonised as an MADC Rising Star. One piece of ‘passion work’ (personal or unpublished work) may also be submitted.

Submissions close in just over 3 weeks, strictly – 19 September (no extensions).

Winners will be announced as part of the MADC Stars Creative Showcase presented by Matt Eastwood, fresh from the US on November 1.
