Host/Havas’ Paul Bootlis joins Macquarie Health in the role of chief creative and growth officer

image001.jpegPaul Bootlis has joined Macquarie Health as chief creative and growth officer.

Bootlis joins Macquarie Health from Host/Havas Sydney where he was digital creative director, a role he took up in January last year.

Prior to Host/Havas Bootlis was at AKQA San Francisco.

Says Bootlis: “It’s time for me to pursue new interests and life goals. I’m excited to join Macquarie Health, an Australian company innovating in healthcare, med-tech, and wellness, real passions of mine. I look forward to contributing to their ongoing success.”

Bootlis’ career in writing, marketing, and digital media has spanned 20 years, working in Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco, and Los Angeles across multiple creative disciplines. He has won every major advertising accolade, this year scoring two D&AD black pencils and three Cannes Lions Grand Prix – including a Titanium Grand Prix – for the ground-breaking eco-project, the Palau Pledge.

Currently ranked number two creative director and copywriter in the world (Cannes Lions Global Creativity Report 2018), Bootlis’ multi-award-winning portfolio includes Levi’s Tools, Bud Light Button, Super School Project and the global launch of Apple Watch.

He has worked with Google, Nike, Audi, and Defence Force Recruiting.

A native of Melbourne, he now lives in Sydney.
