In Bloom: Photographs by internationally acclaimed artist Alina Gozin’a Oct 22 – Nov 4
In support of this year’s partnership with The Royal Hospital for Women and BAZAAR in Bloom, Westfield Sydney has collaborated with internationally acclaimed photographer, director and artist Alina Gozin’a to present to the public this stunning photographic artwork lightbox installation, showcasing in high definition and intimate detail some of the most exhilarating shots of floral blooms you may ever see…
Says Alina: “I’ve shot these flowers the way I shoot notable people, using the same technique and approach, bathing the subject in intricate studio light, capturing the intimate details and the soul of these stunning natural wonders at that moment in time.”
This is Alina’s second collaboration with Westfield, her first featuring in 2017 titled ‘At Your Door: The Doormen of New York City’. Gozin’a recently returned from New York last week, where she shot Kevin Rudd for the cover of Good Weekend Magazine as well as a billboard campaign for a new HBO show.
Alina’s new body of work ‘The Harlem Stories of the Heart’ has been selected to open as a solo show by the Head On Photo Festival in May 2019. ‘The Last Snow of New York’, another solo exhibition, is set to open in June 2019.
Alina is represented by Flint Productions and Wentworth Galleries.
