Screen Shot 2018-10-30 at 8.21.27 am.jpgLaunched last night on free-to-air networks, Officeworks’ latest TVC via AJF Partnership, aims to recognise the pivotal role all small and medium businesses play in the Australian economy, looking behind the scenes where a lot of the hard work happens.

Officeworks national marketing manager, Karl Winther, said the piece was all about championing the ‘engine room’ of Australia’s economy.

Says Winther: “Our insights tell us that small business owners are a motivated, optimistic and ambitious bunch that are focused on supporting their customers.

“Officeworks exists to help make bigger things happen for our customers, so we wanted to acknowledge the hard work businesses put-in and remind them we’re here to support them on their journey by providing the widest range, low prices and great service via a compelling every channel offer. And in turn, they’ll be better positioned to serve their customers and achieve the success they’re striving for.”

As an extension of this support, Officeworks launched its first small business podcast, Paper Cuts, in August. Hosted by Jason Cunningham, a business coach, author and commentator, Paper Cuts is a five-part series that shares incredible untold stories of small business owners from around the country. Each of these businesses have had that ‘paper cut’ moment – when it all seems too hard and they’re not sure they can keep their dream alive, and yet they have survived and thrived.

The new podcast series joins the comprehensive range of existing content Officeworks’ provides its business customers on WorkWise, a dedicated small business hub that supports small businesses by providing them free, helpful articles, resources and downloads 24/7 to help them run and grow their business.

Since its inception in 2016, WorkWise has seen more than 400,000 UVs, 5,600 resource and template downloads, and now more than 5,000 podcast downloads.

The content is designed to help business owners navigate the daily challenges of running a business by offering helpful information, tips and advice and is another great way Officeworks shows it is a true supporter of small business.

The screens piece will feature across cinema, Facebook, YouTube and News.com.au pre-roll over the next 12 months.
