Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, McCann Health and BWM Dentsu all winners at 2018 Bravo! Awards

Screen Shot 2018-11-16 at 9.16.06 am.jpgFive Global Awards were presented to three Australian agencies at last night’s annual Bravo! Awards ceremony, hosted by The Communications Council and held at Crystal Bar in Sydney.

Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness (left) took out a silver award in the Pharma (Rx) section and a bronze in the Health & Wellness category for its Blown out of action campaign on behalf of Sanofi Pasteur.

McCann Health (pictured below) took out silver and bronze awards in the Health & Wellness category, while BWM Dentsu also took out a silver in the same category.

Global win 3 (2).jpgBravo! celebrates the world’s best healthcare advertising, recognising outstanding talent and achievements from the Asia pacific region as judged by The Global Awards.

Says Elizabeth Ritchie, head of account service, McCann Health: “P&G engaged McCann Health to do something different in the constipation category. And ‘poo romance’ was born. It was bigger and more successful than we ever imagined. Part 2, “Gutsy”, has continued the momentum. It’s proven to be a campaign capable of driving growth and understanding in the category, and we’re thrilled about that.”

Says Andrew Crowe, brand manager, P&G Healthcare, ANZ: “Gut health and staying regular can be a difficult conversation to have, but by engaging consumers in a light hearted and irreverent fashions we’ve managed to make a serious statement that stuck. The Metamucil story is a perfect example of this. It’s also pleasing to win in the social media space and see the craft of copywriting is still recognised!”

Agency of the Year was awarded to Area 23, and Network of the Year went to FCB Health Network.
