Entries open for the Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Excellence; closes Apr 26

Screen Shot 2019-02-04 at 12.08.51 pm.jpgThe Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) has announced that entries for this year’s AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence will open today (4th February 2019).

For 37 years, the awards have celebrated individuals and organisations who have achieved extraordinary success from applying innovative and effective marketing practices.

The awards have evolved to align with the changes and the fast-paced nature of marketing theory and practice.

Says Lynda Cavalera, acting AMI chair: “The AMI Awards recognise the best-of-the-best across industries and the various marketing disciplines. They have become the North Star for many marketing professionals as a beacon of what great looks like, and to recognise and reward the significant and positive contribution marketers make to their organisations and customers.”

The awards will feature 18 award categories and 7 special award categories recognising marketing excellence. Entries in all categories are open to every organisation regardless of the industry or sector. Industry specific categories are not offered this year. Entrants are encouraged to enter award categories most relevant to the nature of their entry.

The AMI welcomes individuals and businesses to apply at the following link: ami.org.au/awards Nominations close on Friday 26 April 2019. The special early bird entry rate is available until Friday 15 March 2019.

Key Dates 2019

• 26 April 2019 – Award entries close

• 15 May 2019 – Judging commences

• June 2019 – Tickets on sale for National Awards Gala

• July – August 2019 – State finalists announced at events in each state

• 16 October 2019 – National Awards Gala, Pullman on the Park Melbourne.
