Freedom appoints Edge as content agency
Leading furniture and homewares retailer Freedom has appointed independent creative and content agency, Edge to handle its content strategy and production of digital and social content.
Says Jason Piggott, general manager, marketing, Freedom: “Edge have a deep knowledge of retail along with proven smarts in content strategy. We’re looking forward to rolling out our content campaign with the team at Edge.”
New work is in development and will roll out over the coming months including new seasonal work for Autumn/Winter.
David Stretch, managing director Edge, said Freedom is a much-loved brand, with a great story to tell. Says Stretch: “It is refreshing to see retailers embrace the power of well-timed inspirational content to accompany promotional messaging.”
The Freedom win builds on Edge’s proposition of fusing advertising, content and media for brands including Mitre 10, Dymocks, Jaycar, Gloria Jeans and Donut King.

Shivers. If I had all those discretionary retailers as clients, I’d only buy trousers in one colour: brown.
… lets see if Gloria Jeans & Donut King are mentioned as clients in six months time. Internal “agency”, horrible politics, and appalling business ethics. RFG has to be one of the worst organisations in Australia.
Bottom feeder, ambulence chaser or revenue desperate?
