With experience at a number of international and home grown agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland and Sydney, Publicis Mojo Auckland and Ogilvy Auckland, Perry is no stranger to working in top tier agencies.

His creative talent has been recognised through a raft of international and local awards including a Grand Prix at Axis, Gold at Cannes and Axis and Silver at Clio and Best of Design Awards.

Perry, who has also judged AWARD on three occasions, says he is looking forward to making his mark at Interbrand: “I’m really excited to be back in a global agency and partnering with James to grow Interbrand locally to lift its creative profile,” says Perry.

Interbrand managing director James Bickford says Perry’s depth of experience in the industry will make him an invaluable addition to the team: “This is a fantastic hire for the agency and the wider DDB Group. It signals the next phase of growth for Interbrand NZ as we position the business locally as a world class design and brand strategy leader,” says Bickford.

DDB Group executive creative director Toby Talbot says he looks forward to making use of all Perry’s talents within the wider DDB Group: “Lorenz is a great designer, typographer and art director and he is very well versed in digital. I can’t wait to see what he does. This is a huge hire for Interbrand,” says Talbot.
