Leading minds line-up for 2012 APG Battle of Big Thinking – set to take place Wednesday March 28 during Circus Festival of Creativity in Sydney
The Account Planning Group (APG), powered by The Communications Council, today announced the line-up for the Battle of Big Thinking 2012.
Pastor Graham Long (Wayside Chapel), Activist Elena Jeffreys- Scarlet Alliance, CEO Debra Richards (Ausfilm) and Stephan Elliot (director, Priscilla Queen of the Desert) will be amongst the speakers sharing their ideas. Rogan Jacobson, (pictured), teacher and previous Battle winner will return to defend his 2011 Title.
The Battle of Big Thinking, part of the annual Communications Council ‘Circus’ Festival of Commercial Creativity, is set for March 28 and will welcome fifteen ‘Thinkers’ from media through to government. Ideas will be presented in five categories: Business, Advertising/Marketing/Media, Government, Social/Community and Storytelling.
The 2012 ‘Biggest Thinker’ will be judged and voted on by the audience on the day.
Says Sudeep Gohill (left), chairman of the APG: “We’ve gathered some remarkable people to share how the power of ideas can change attitudes and behaviour. All great work we do in this industry originates from great ideas, so take a day out of the office to stimulate the mind with big and provocative ideas that will inspire and inform your own marketing practices”.

The Chasers’ Julian Morrow will return as Battle MC.
