Droga5 gets boost from investor Henry Silverman + MTV founder Bob Pittman – London office next?

Australian majority-owned Droga5 – with offices in New York, Sydney and Auckland – has won several million dollars in backing from prominent investors who are trying to help the agency expand while retaining its indie status, according to Ad Age.
The investment is led by a private group headed by investor Henry Silverman, and included media mogul Bob Pittman.

Does that mean they now own equity in D5?
Who knows. But cannot be a bad thing to have 2 billionaires on your side. ( Admittedly I had to Google one of them.) perhaps it’s just me, but I feel like Droga5 exists in a different industry to the one we all work in?
