Fuel VFX plays host to 450 at Christmas party
Last Thursday, Fuel VFX hosted an impressive 450 guests from the commercial and film sectors celebrating another great year in their fabulous Trocadero building on King St, Newtown.
The night had all the good signs of a great party – espresso martinis, live music set from Kataylst sound system, a dessert bar to die for, a couple of visits from the police, an irate neighbour wielding a spanner, and an industry wide hangover on the Friday.
Fuel’s design & FX team created a series of 3D projections transforming many of the heritage walls into a live canvas of colourful graphic shapes, illuminating and transforming the studio into a neon inspired party venue.

Anyone know where they hired the dancers for the hip hop band? They were great.
Coolest building in Sydney I think, it’s an old roller disco I think the guys at Fuel told me, wonder if the roller skates were out that night?
FYI….. the event director/ party planner, is 1 smoking hot, awesome chic!!!
she worked her super amazing butt off in a very short space of time to ensure ‘everything’ went to plan, and everyone had the best time. So please stand, raise your glass, and give the biggest HIP HIP HOORAY! for her, as she so fucking deserves!!!
