Says Mackenzie: “I’m sad to be leaving The Editors, but I need to spend more time with my kids and less time queuing at the airport.

“I’ve focused on building The Editors to its current position as a very successful company that offers a lot more than editorial. Now that we’ve reached that goal, I feel comfortable stepping away.”

Mackenzie joined The Editors in 2009 and together with its partners set out to create a business that would become the leading Editorial company in Australia, overseeing a team of editors, producers, assistants and future editors.

Says Bernard Garry, founding partner at The Editors: “Jo has been with us since our early days, she’s helped grow the company and the brand to where we are today – to say she’ll be missed is a huge understatement.”

Senior producer Nicoletta Rousianos will now head up The Editors’ team.
