Loud and Muddville create ‘New Holland Bees’

‘New Holland Bees’ is the latest brand TVC for agricultural company New Holland, conceived by independent Sydney shop LOUD and produced with Dubai based animation outfit Muddville.
The TVC went to air on 28 March and will screen across regional Australia.

Nice.
Why not show the real tractors? Tractors are ace and everyone loves them. It seems crazy that anyone would choose to replace something as awesome as a tractor with an animation of a tractor. Especially New Holland. The same goes for combines. Check out how many hits “New Holland” real tractor and harvester videos get on YouTube, then check how many hits this ad gets. I can understand animation for a hedge fund or insurance company that has no real product. But guys, you have tractors. Real tractors. And harvesters.
30 seconds too long. Also, I cant imagine that this client (one ive never heard of) can afford to run the 60.

“Tractors are ace”…. I beg to differ. I have sat for many lonely hours in country Australia watching regional ads.. I can’t begin to tell you how monotonous they are. I’d rather be sat in a dentist’s chair stabbing myself in the thigh with a biro.
Regional advertising needs another picture of a ‘real tractor’ like Channel Seven needs a series repeat of Hey Dad.
This ad is extremely appealing and has huge cut through. Well done Muddville and LOUD – an excellent job, keep up the good work.
