Tactic drafts Megan Brown as creative head

Screen shot 2010-07-05 at 4.13.52 PM.pngSydney-based entertainment-marketing agency TACTIC has appointed outgoing entertainment branding specialist Megan Brown their creative director as company owner Diana Costantini moves to the ABC to take up the role of Head of ABC TV Marketing.

With over 17 years experience in the Broadcast and Advertising environments, Megan was Creative Director at XYZ Networks Music Channels for 7 years where her main focus was channel branding, creative strategy and messaging for the 4 music channels. She was also responsible for advertiser integration including the internationally awarded Strongbow/Max Summer Campaign. More recently Megan has completed a consultancy at music marketing experiential agency Peer Group Media as Creative Director/Head of Broadcast.

Commenting on her appointment, Brown said, “I am enormously excited tobe joining such a highly acclaimed, award winning multi-disciplinecreative agency. I’m looking forward to working with their many clientsand on the exciting projects they have lined up for the next 12 months,whilst being at the forefront of unique content initiatives andcreative solutions with the amazing TACTIC team.”

With a vast knowledge of the FTA, Subscription Television, Digital andBroadcast platforms, Megan brings her extensive creative and strategicbackground, including Marketing Communications, Client Integration,Multi-format Content, Brand Imagery and Strategy to TACTIC’smulti-award winning business.

TACTIC has had another successful World Promax/BDA Awards in LosAngeles, recently receiving a haul of 10 gold, silver and bronze musesafter being the highest nominated Australian company. The Promax/BDAAwards is the only competition dedicated to recognizing excellence inMarketing, Design and Creative in the entertainment industry.

Brown will join the TACTIC team on Monday July 12.
