The Pool Grant launches call for submissions for emerging photographers - deadline Thurs, May 4

Founded in 2009, POOL's artists created The Pool Grant to support the development of emerging talent in the industry, and have spent the past eight years acting as mentors to each year's recipient. POOL's artists want to help cultivate the next generation of image-makers.

"We're inspired by the proposals that come through and how applicants are supplementing their work with creative mixed media ideas. In that way The Pool Grant has grown and evolved as we have as a collective, and we're very much looking forward to seeing what's in store this year."
The Pool Grant is open to Australian and New Zealand residents over 18 years of age and with less than 3 years of professional experience in photography. The POOL COLLECTIVE is looking to be inspired by applicants' ideas as well as their skills.
The POOL COLLECTIVE is a creative cooperative based in Sydney comprising of seven artists working in the mediums of motion and still imagery.
