The 6AM Agency appoints former Deepend client services director Adam Washington to CEO role

Adam Washington_6AM (1).jpgSydney creative communications firm, The 6AM Agency, has announced the appointment of Adam Washington (left) as chief executive officer.

Washington brings a decade of technology, digital and agency experience to his new role. He spent the past four years at Deepend, where he served most recently as client services director. He previously worked in strategic and client service roles at Tongue, Publicis Mojo, Wunderman and Amnesia Razorfish. Washington started his career in 2000 by launching one of Australia’s earliest digital publications.

He joins 6AM to spearhead the business’ strategy-led, earned centric evolution, and accelerate its creative and commercial growth.

Founded in 2002 as Brand New Solutions by wellbeing communications expert and author Gillian Fish (below, right), and rebranded The 6AM Agency one year ago, the Bondi-based firm has rapidly expanded its client base beyond its decade-long specialisation in wellbeing and good living PR.

6AM Leadership (1).jpgIndustry leader Chris Savage (centre), a former regional chairman of Burson-Marsteller, founder of Australia’s biggest PR firm Ogilvy PR, and former chief operating officer of STW Group (now WPP AUNZ), was appointed chairman at 6AM a year ago, and recently increased his minority shareholding in the business.
