Richard.jpgDirector Richard Vilensky has taken out the Best Director award at this year’s Diamond Skulls Awards, which were held on Wednesday in Perth, WA.

Vilensky wins the award off the back of a series of successful campaigns including his work for the launch of the All New Land Rover Discovery which recently picked up a silver for Best Automotive at the International Content Awards out of London.

Says Vilensky: “I don’t normally place much emphasis on the importance of awards. This is because normally I don’t win them. That said, I think it’s nice to know that my peers are into the work I’ve been creating.”

Diamond Skulls are presented by the PADC and are the premiere advertising awards in WA, honouring individuals who’ve created the most inspiring creative communications for the year.

Says Henry Motteram, executive producer of TAZER / The Precinct: “I think it’s fantastic that Richard has been recognised by the PADC. It shows that others are now seeing what we’ve always known – that Richard is one of Australia’s most talented commercial directors.”

Vilensky is represented by TAZER / The Precinct throughout Australasia and The Sandbox in WA. For more information please contact Henry Motteram – henry@theprecinct.com.
