Redundancies at Clemenger Sydney including head of creative technology Bob Forster
Clemenger BBDO Sydney has left several staffers go including Brendan ‘Bob’ Foster, head of creative technology, who joined in the agency from Google in 2014.
Forster (pictured) worked at Google for eight years, most recently as creative agency specialist.
Since joining Clemenger BBDO Forster has worked on campaigns such as the Dolmio Pepper Hacker, V Energy’s “Wasteland with a V” and the Tourism Australia Aquatic & Coastal campaign and it’s immersive 360° video experiences.
He is a strong believer that when technology and digital platforms are combined with great ideas magic can happen.
Says Clemenger BBDO national CEO Nick Garrett: “It’s no secret that we’re going through a period of transformation in Sydney. We’ve brought in people and new capabilities to help evolve our offer and ensure we’re meeting our clients’ expectations.
“The hardest part of any transformation is making these tough calls – it’s never easy seeing friends of the agency leave the business. I’d like to thank them all for their contributions and wish them the best in their future endeavours.”
When contacted by CB, the agency would not specify exactly how many other staffers had been let go.

…nicest, smartest, and most passionate humans you could ever work with. Bobby Boy will land somewhere baller in no time at all.
Love you bob!
Such a great man. Scarily smart, amazingly creative and hilariously banterous. Yes Bobby!
Clems Sydney anymore
Onwards and upwards GB!
Love you Bob.
The Dolmio work was close enough to scam. Happy to see the agency responsible going nowhere
What you mean the global, highly-effective, multi-year campaign for the Pepper Hacker? You sad sack. Glad you like to see people losing their jobs
