ALDI continues ‘Like Brands. Only Cheaper’ campaign via BMF with a twist in every aisle
Capitalising on the momentum from 2014, BMF has created a fresh series of “Like Brands. Only Cheaper” spots, drawing products from every aisle of the ALDI store.
Says Steve McArdle, managing director, BMF: “We’re delighted to unleash another set of ALDI ‘Like Brands’ ads on a fully suspecting public. They promise to put even bigger smiles on people’s faces as well as a few dollars back in their pockets.”
Says Cam Blackley, executive creative director, BMF: “We are really excited about this new set of Like Brands commercials. The brief was to stay surprising and I think the range of techniques utilised to bring each idea to life, nailed that.”
Says an ALDI spokesperson: “This latest set of ten ads really emphasises to shoppers that at ALDI you truly can get quality products at low prices throughout the store, it’s not just a select few. The work achieves this in an interesting, yet memorable way.”
The campaign launched on Sunday and will be running on TV and supported by online, social and catalogue.

I like this one, and I like that one
Got a good chuckle from the Caveman execution. Nice one dudes
I wonder what BMF’s branded clients think of them dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight?
A mammoth tusk, but you’ve done well.
Seems to be a bit of life back in this great campaign.
Jim and Ryan!
THE GOOCH!
Does anyone know / can infer what camera they shot these spots on? (Not the cockroach ones, the Live-action spots)
Cheers
