CB Exclusive – CB can reveal that Atomic 212° executive creative director Jonas Lembke, who joined the agency in late 2016, has departed the agency.
It is believed Lembke is still in Sydney working on creative projects out of his own consultancy, The Innovation Chapel, which he first formed in Sweden four years ago.
CB understands the agency is now back to focussing on media rather than the broader creative offering of recent years.
Lembke has previously been creative director for Otto Stockholm, Craik Jones, Proximity London, Ogilvy Interactive, BBDO Proximity Nordics and The Innovation Chapel.

What did Atomic creatively produce for their clients?
@Trevor. Their award entries?
@Barry. lol’d.
Nice bloke. Feel for him getting caught up in this mess.
So the creative + media business is now just the media agency, right? Isn’t that going back in time?
This is what happens when a back from retirement media guy starts running a creative business. Barry O’Brien was a good media guy in his day when you needed that artful dodger thing, and believe me it was needed in those days, but in terms of having an opinion on artificial intelligence or shopper marketing – they are in trouble.
Media agencies are on the edge of death, scrambling for content integration, creative and whatever will bridge the gap until someone solves the problem of the death of media.
If I was in charge Id being hiring the best creative team out of Amsterdam or New York to build the picture of what our industry could be, not leaving a trail of disgruntled creatives floating around the market.
Sharpen your pitch pencils, I predict all those clients who bought into the creative vision will soon be knocking on your door.
Come on Barry and team, you are better than this, put the shine back into your hipster beards.
