Bickford’s has developed a new campaign via Adelaide agency, KWP!
Bickford’s is a much-loved brand that has been adding a splash of flavour to the lives of Australians since 1874 with a range of premium cordials crafted to appeal to more mature tastes.
Says Chris Illman, national marketing director, Bickford’s: “The cordials we make aren’t your typical cordials. For over 140 years we have made uniquely flavoured cordials right here in South Australia that can turn a mere glass of water into something special.”
Says David O’Loughlin, strategist, KWP!: “To further build on Bickford’s dominant position in the premium cordial category, a migration of brand associations was required. Adults think of cordial as an occasional drink so to change this we have focused on the brand’s ability to enhance any occasion by adding exceptional flavour.”
This first television commercial is part of a series that will continue later in the year and introduce more extraordinary Bickford’s products.

It’s not water’s fault that it’s colourless, odourless and tasteless. Any cordial would add flavour. So why Bickfords?
@ordinary owen. good point – where is the razzle dazzle? How has he changed? A series of unusually framed shots doesn’t mean great spot when it doesn’t go anywhere.
If only it was the other way ’round.
