British artist creates life-size model of Charles Saatchi on display at Jealous Gallery in London
A young British artist, who prefers to remain anonymous, has created a life-size model of Charles Saatchi with a hand outstretched ready to choke anyone who cares to interact with the piece, currently on display at the Jealous Gallery in Crouch End, London
The work is entitled ‘Playful Tiff’ – the words Charles Saatchi used to describe the infamous incident where he put his hand around his wife Nigella Lawson’s neck at Scott’s restaurant in London.
Viewers of ‘Playful Tiff’ are invited to place their neck in Saatchi’s hand and capture the moment by taking a photo on their mobile phones.
In line with the devilish persona that Saatchi has adopted to promote his book ‘Be The Worst You Can Be’, the model is bright red and replete with horns.

bloody brilliant, this should be at Trafalgar Square
love it
The sign is the best bit.
I thought artists were supposed to have clever insights.
This is the rehashing of a ‘blokes are bad’ news story.
Someone make a statue of Nigella being a petulant PITA, you just know it’s the case.
Charles is well-known for discovering young artists and making them rich and famous and himself even richer. Don’t be surprised if that’s the outcome here.
Could the artist possibly be Charles Saatchi?
To promote the book by Charles Saatchi?
Press release sure reads like it.
The devil’s horns are a bit obvious, but otherwise it is good for a laugh.
Captain O,
She may or may not be a PITA, I don’t know. But if she is, that is a good reason to divorce, not to assault someone.

Great use of M&C’s typeface.
So she deserved it; she was “asking for it” was she?
Awesome – so glad to share an industry with a person like you.
